    • Hold on there Ulrich

      3 - 2 - 1 - 0??

Hold on there Ulrich, we're not there yet!

      Actually you have probably left Houston by now and are putting miles behind you. Have a safe trip and we will see you Saturday night;

We made it to Royal Gorge. I can't remember who said he was going to take this in on his return trip.

Word of warning it will cost you $25 each to enter the grounds, however the Funicular to the bottom of the groge and the Gondola ride are both included in the admission. It is not so good a value if you are in a hurry.

There are quite a few eating and drinking establishments and it looks like it would get quite crowded in mid afternoon. There is lots to do to spend a day there.

We made it to Santa Fe tonight and spent a great day visiting the galleries here. There is still much to see south of us so it is on to Alamogordo for Saturday night.

      Keep the beers cold!

Not quite yet -- will be heading out tomorrow morning, somewhere before 7am. I should be arriving before 7pm, so how about we plan for dinner around 8pm? You guys get to choose where, since you'll probably have more time to explore the local options.

        See you then!

                  • Made it!

Well we made it to Alamogordo, NM, washed the bugs off the car, and met some of the owners of these Honda sport cars in the parking lot.

Today took us from Santa Fe through Sandia Peak overlooking Albuquerque, NM and on to Albuquerque where we ate lunch.

No one told me there were going to be such straight roads with big cross winds.

Tomorrow Coop has some local sights to visit here in Alamogordo and it promises to be a good day for all.

                    Ta Ta for now.

                    • Nice Pics... We made it from Santa Barbara to Tucson today, and should be meeting up with everyone tomorrow afternoon in Alamogordo.

                        • Well .... we left home (northern VA)

Did a little driving (3150 miles)

                          Ate some BBQ

Stopped to have the tires balanced, a quick W&W, and picked up a K&N Air Cleaner recharger - the wind and dust were blowing

                          A little more driving

Did a little scenic detour and a picture moment

and we are here in Almagordo, NM
                          (picture to follow).
