    Miscellaneous Musings:
The most important lessons you need to know about life can be learned from a Weeble.

The only problem with telling people to live by the Golden Rule is that it fails to take into account the existence of Masochists.

Today I learned: The Golden Rule is a maxim which is found in almost every religion and culture in the world. For instance, in Christian sects, it is attributed to Matthew (7:12). In fact, 143 leaders of the world's major faiths endorsed the Golden Rule as part of the 1993 "Declaration Toward a Global Ethic." Essentially no religion misses it entirely, and a belief in God is not necessary to endorse it. So technically, it's not even really a religious thing at all.

As an aside, I'm really happy to see you post. Timing on this is strangely coincidental. I was thinking of you earlier today and wondering how you were doing. I was reading a news report about Trudeau's press conference today, how Canada is seeing a second wave with the virus, and keeping the border with the US closed due to the US side's spiking numbers particularly in the immediately adjacent states. It got me to thinking about you and that we hadn't heard from you in awhile.
Yes, our numbers are spiking too, in some areas its increasing at a rate worse than the first wave. I've been in my own self-imposed lockout since early March! I was just starting to get to do grocery shopping but I'm back to having them delivered! What a world....Australia just decided to keep its borders closed for a whole year!

Anybody you can enlist for driving duty and let you still get the wind in hair (or in my case scalp) feeling?
I'm hoping there is a surgical solution, but I've been forever waiting for a specialist appointment. We have a free healthcare system, but we have major waitlists. Unless its an emergency, we wait months and sometimes years! And covid has put an extra wrinkle on the concept of a waitlist. Since I am breathing without difficulty (honestly, I'm grateful for that), I am not considered an emergency!
        Stay safe.

Yes, continuing to breath is the first priority! It's so odd, the way we adapt in ways we never would have imagined. I've been watching old episodes of "Monk" while on lockdown and the obsessive compulsive behavior looks almost normal now. Wipe!

OMG YES. Have you seen the episode where he ends up in the clean room? With my allergies right now being what they are, that is also my dream. Oh Monk. You get me.
