I have a high end chevy conversion van with all the toys...It's my 5th one.

Nothing nicer than reclining back in a wide leather seat with heat and massage to watch a football game in hd while your wife drives. Did I mention the frig, wireless connection and the full size bed in case you need a road nap?

I'll be putting 6000 miles on it in June. I thought about driving the S..... for about 30 seconds.

ps my second choice would be a Bentley Azure Convertible but I don't have one of those.

If the lottery win was really big, it would be any seat I want on my own private jet. The credit card will take care of any car rental and hotel I choose. Driving everywhere might be fun for the first few thousand miles, but after that, the stuff between stops just gets boring, even in my "dream" car.
If it's a modest win, I'll take the window seat, first class. The rental car will be waiting for me upon arrival to take me to a nice hotel and nearby site seeing.

OK I should of made this a little clearer. When I retire, I want to get into my car or in/on whatever and just travel across the US & Canada. I guess if I had the $$$$ from a very large lotto, then a plane would be nice.

Well, I would drive both of the M6s and figure it doesn't neeed to be any better than that ... I don't mean this to be blasphemy, but I would take a long test-drive in the Cadillac CTS-V & XLR-V... just as a compariosn. --- If I'm driving around the county for pleasure, I don't want something that isn't easy to find a dealer for maintainenance and repair if needed.

Either that, or a hitch-mounted rack, and you'd be set!

I think it depends on how long you plan to be on the road. If you're talking about 2-week trips to various places, a nice touring car or bike would be great. If you want to hit the road for a month or more, I guarantee you'll want the comfort of a coach or luxury conversion van. My sister did a 2-month trip a couple of years ago in her motor home. She really had fun and met a lot of people.

                                        I voted for luxury sports.
