    I have seen many cars in these parts with a dirty oil scum near the door bottoms, rocker panels and trunk access areas where the Ziebart (or what ever they use) creeps onto the exterior surfaces and attracts dirt.
    I can only assume these drivers use touchless car washes and never wipe down the car when washing.
    Wiping down would certainly clean off the scum.
