    Speedway SuperAmerica in Joliet on July 11

    I won 4 tickets to this event...and I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it takes place at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet. Gates open at 8am on Friday and it's 'general admission'. I have a meeting Friday morning in Schaumberg until about noon, but I am going to head to the Speedway to check this out. Anyone who cares to join me gets a free ticket...and you don't even have to hang out with me!

    Any takers, just let me know...post, pm, email, whatever.

    OK, it looks like the Busch and Winston Cup series qualifying...NASCAR/IROC will be playing.

      ugghhhh....stock car racing. I wouldn't go if they were giving away haircuts for all mullet heads. Anyone else see the irony in the name of that category of racing. Stock car racing?

        OK, so I will cross you off the list...

        I have never been to a NASCAR race, so I'm actually looking forward to it...despite the preponderance of shirtless drunk people...hell, I may even join 'em!
