Okay Midwest gang!! My wife and I want to maximize the fun and the experience of the F1 weekend by hosting a Grill-O-Rama at our humble home in the rolling hills of Fishers, Indiana (north side of Indy). This is not to be confused the the BBQ that is also happening the next day at the track....we are doing this one in ADDITION TO the Saturday one. So...what do you need to know? Here it goes.
Date: Friday June 15, 2007
Time: 6:45 pm until whenever the last person staggers out of my lawn. LOL!!
Location: 7477 Timberlane Drive
Fishers, Indiana 46038
(*If you are coming in off of I-69 you will take exit 5 which is the 116th Street / Fishers exit and go west a couple of miles until you see a stoplight for Hague Road. Turn left there and go about 100 yards up to the FIRST street on your right which is Timberlane Drive. Turn right (the only way you can turn anyway) and our house will be on the left with cars there. You will see a bright yellow one in the yard that you cannot miss.

We will be feasting on hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, chips, and whatever else you bring. Seriously....if you want me to cook something you brought, and it is grillable, that is fine with me.
Lesley and I will have a couple of cases of Coke, Diet Coke, and Mountain Dew to drink. Alcoholic beverages are on a B.Y.O.B basis....but you can always bring me something of the 'brown bag' variety.
Now....we need to get an accurate idea of who all is showing up so we have enough to feed everyone. Everyone who is into cars, F1 racing, or knows someone that is, is welcome and encouraged to show up. We love to host at our house.
I know you are saying, 'But Mitch...I thought I read something about a Lamborghini,' and that is correct....you did. I will be marking my house for all to see by parking a bright yellow 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 in the lawn. It should be there by the 6:45 pm start time...if not, it will be there very soon after (it is also being displayed on the circle for a few hours Friday afternoon). If you miss that....well.....I do not know what to say.
So there we have it....bring what you want....donactions are welcome, but not required. Although...I may do something crazy like draw a name out of those that donate and take the winner for a ride in the Lamborghini that they will not soon forget.
Car wash facilities will be open in my driveway for those of you that want to get the bugs and grime off of your babies.
