Wisconsin Chapter Anyone?

Looking to start up a chapter here in the Dairyland - are you interested? There are plenty of S's around here, let's get together as an official group! We have members in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Madison, Beloit and Hartland to name a few. We're trying to arrange a drive this weekend. And then wouldn't it be great to have a good number driving together in September to Belterra...

I have been trying to put together a chapter since I joined the club. I think now we may have the critical mass to proceed. I am definately interested, Renee (Pondpickle, don't ask) doesn't own a s2000 but wants to join,(Red's Dad) is ready to sign on, so all we need is one more person to jump aboard and it sounds like you guys know a few more. Geras003 should be made a honorary member as he is a mad russian with some wisconsin roots. Lets get a dialog started

Hey geras003-your buddies out there say you're still running the chedder tags because you don't want to pay those NJ taxes! Don't you get flack over those plates? They do know Wisconsin is not in Canada, don't they? You did tell them, didn't you? Mark

I can't make it this weekend, going camping on the Wisconsin river. Maybe weekend after next or anytime we can put it together with enough lead time to clear my weekends. We need to find some central location that is reasonable for all to meet and discuss forming a chapter. Doug

HAMRHD,SLVRBULLET AND ANY OTHER WIS. MEMBER : I am willing to host a meet and greet, maybe on Sat. Aug. 11th in my neck of the woods. My location is "centerally" located from Madison ( 50 miles ) and Kenosha ( 55 miles ). There are some nice roads here and some good places to grab a bite to eat. If this is long enough to schedule, let me know and I'll put something together. Let's get this chapter thing going and get everybodies input. Mark

I posted a thread in the "Pit Lane" forum last week about Road America( Elkhart Lake ) and nobody ( except coop ) responded so I thought nobody in the area was going up for the races. Therefore I put up the 11th date. No harm,no foul. Let it be known that maybe the 18th is a better date for all. Please chime in and I'll watch the thread for everyone's commets. GO ACURA at the races!! Hope to meet all the members soon. Only we as a group can make this happen!! Mark

Only if you wear a cheese head hat. Properly angled they are as effective as a rear wing, but you have more control over the angle for those loong straitaways
