Hi im new to the forum.

Just bought my S a little less then a month ago.

I did a quick search but didnt see any Iowa threads.

Any members from Iowa?

I'm in the Des Moines area.

It's been a while but I seem to recall a member in Des Moines... He did the Fresh Water Tour one year. I've had no other contact.

We seem to pass through Des Moines a couple of times a year, but it is rather unpredictable.

Members are kinda sparce in Nebraska too.

I think the closest you have is our group up here in Minneapolis. Look at the Northern Lights chapter area for our events/activities.

im getting a meet together this weekend for s2ks, hondas and car enthusiests.

just in case heres the info: date is saturday 6/26 at 1:00 at jordan creek mall in WDM IA.

got a new gtr, gt500, supra, evo and some other cars coming too.

i met a few people from other s2000 sites and was hoping to meet a few on this site too.

Mine is white. With the group I go with they run the full course. Here's some video from the track. The audio sucked so I put some music over it.

Pretty much stock. Carbotech brakes are a must on the track and I've put in a K&N filter. I used to own an '07 S2000 and the CR is very noticeably better in the corners, but pretty rough for the daily drive, plus no radio or A/C.

last meet had a good turn out and had a good time (30+ cars last time)

This event will be sponsored just like any car show............I am going to make sure that everyone is aware of this meet and we urge everyone to do the same.

I will be contacting most of you through here and will ask of you the same. We all want this to be HUGE and UNFORGETTABLE. The more we can turn out, the more shows Rising Sun Promotions will start setting up for the next couple years.

As stated above there will be free food, water, music and the iowa bikini team is in the works!!! If you are planning on drinking alcohol you can bring your own stuff but please be aware that we are not going to be held liable for underage drinking. This is going to be an open to anyone event, so please be smart about what you do.

As time gets closer more information will be provided and I will have a flyer posted on this site and other venues!!!

UPDATE:

I have a guy who has his own paintless dent removal business. He is willing to come out to the meet. if there is enough interest he said he could knock off about $5-10 or so per dent.

This would be a great way for some of us that have some small dents to get it done at a great price.

hes already helped me with a few and i can vouch for his work.

so if your interested please post up.
