      1. Hey, I've been waiting to see info about the Brown County thing, lasst year I didn't know until it was too late for me to plan to go b/c school was too much. I don't know whether this year will be as bad, but hopefully I'll be able to plan for it.
      2. So, hopefully I'll be able to go this year!
      3. This past summer I got to go to Marietta, OH for the Tomcatt Run since I had a light work summer; it was great meeting some people I'd become familiar with online, especially Kgf !

                1. Ah, my online best friend! Haven't had a shot from you in ages, missed you!
                2. I've had the best summer with the wife, and an easy evening summer school. Did you know I was in the Smokies not far from the Tail of the Dragon? In the Corolla, though, still fun on some level, ha! Plus I got to help shop around for a C5 Vette with a friend, always fun spending someone else's $. I'm known for getting good car deals, so I get some respect off this site for my vast knowledge, ha!
                3. Hey, I bought a wonderful little Casio point and shoot; I've already taken pictures and downloaded them to my cmp, and emailed them, but I'll need #1,2,3...... directions for dummies and how to post them on this site since you can't paste them, or attach them like in other applications I'm used to.
                4. If anyone else out there has step by step directions please help me out; I jjust now thought that perhaps they are already on the site and all I need to do is a search. I would do it now, but I've been helping friends from church move for the past 5 hrs. in the worst humidity we've had all summer, and I'm done!!!!!

It's not set in stone yet.... I was actually thinking the 15th may be way too cold by then.
But Sept 24th may be too close to S2kdays... I dunno

                    1. Ken, I'm about 1 1/4 hrs. from Brown County. If you want to drive in Friday evening and spend the night, and drive the rest of the way in Sat. am, my wife and I have a guest bedroom since the kids have long been gone, no problem if the wife can come along.
                    2. Won't bother me any, I'll fall asleep after work in my big chair anyway, ha!

                          1. By the time Oct. comes along, I'll deny any knowledge of this, so you better print this as proof in case I don't remember who you are.

                          2. Ha!, that was fun!! Haven't had anyone I could vent my ascerbic wit on!

Need to pick a date, soon

Looking forward to this event, live in NE Indiana and the CR needs some exercise.

You need to pick a date soon. Lodging in the Brown County area will be tough to come by at that time of the year with all the leaf peepers in the area. Suggest you pick and post one soon.

                            Thanks.

We had a "Block" of rooms in the Abe Martin Lodge, last year....It was great...
MY'03....Silverstone / Red Loaded with "Whistles, Bells & Toys"....

Life's journey is not to arrive @ the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to "skid" in sideways, totally worn out, shouting"...holy sh*t...what a ride!"

That would be great for this year, 2011, but it might be too late to get those rooms.

As an honorary OKI member, I might just make this (so I can continue my program to bug Mike in every state in the Union ).
