  • Invitation from our Lotus Friends to run Putnam Park

Got this invite from Mark Pfeffer of the St. Louis Area Lotus Lovers (gotta love the acronym) for a day at Putnam Park...see below for details and btw, the stock rollhoops are acceptable for this event...

    Here ya go...!

The St. Louis Area Lotus Lovers(STALLS) and Lotus
Ltd. ( www.LotusCarClub.org )would like to cordially
invite you and the members of the S2000 Club of
America to join us at Putnam Park Road Course
( www.PutnamPark.com )in Mt. Meridian, IN. for a day of
high performance driving and fun Monday, September
    15th.

If you or any of your club members are interested
please have them call STALLS president Mark Pfeffer at
    (314) 889-0572 or via e-mail [email protected] for
details and/or a registration form. As you know, the
S2000 is one of two cars that can do track events
    without a roll bar.

Greg, all the details are taken care of. You simply
register for the track day, pass through tech
inspection and drive. We hope you can join us!

BMW club HPDE at Putnam (June 14-15)

The Bluegrass Chapter BMWCCA is having a HPDE drivers school at Putnam Park June 14-15 and there are still openings available. Putnam Park is a great track, very safe for beginners with lots of runoff, still fun for experienced folks because of the variety of turns. It's about 30 miles west of the Indianapolis Airport.

This is the 9th year for this event; as in previous years it also features a BMWCCA Club Race, showcasing some of the better Midwest Bimmer hotshoes.

More event info here. The application form is available for download.

        ###############

I'll be there Thursday evening through Sunday. Doing the weekend school, plus the Friday lapping day.

        Lots of space still available.

We have 5-6 instructors but for the most part just hours of seat time!
              We have elise,exige,noble,miata,s2k,esprit,super7,porsche, ferrari...
Pretty good group since we are keeping it under 40 cars total.

                Chris,

Thanks for extending this opportunity to the S2KCA members once more. I wish I lived just a little bit closer so I could take part in it because I'd love to run with some of those fine Lotus' on the track. It truly would be a sight to see. Please post a link with some pictures if you have a chance.

Good luck with your event and drop us a line whenever you feel like it.
                Thanks,
                Joe

That looks like a fun track! I also saw your 'Deals Gap' video. I drove that back in 2001 during our Inaugural S2KDays Event in Asheville, NC. Talk about an awakening experience. I should go back and do it again...

Keep the shiny side up Chris!
                    Thanks,
                    Joe

This looks awesome Looks like I just might have to join membership to take part in this. It's not too far out from Chicago. My car will be street legal by then so I can drive it down
