Just wanted to let everyone in the South Central region if you need a new top, I know of a guy...

Clovis! (I honestly don't know if he's registered here, contact me for contact info if needed) Or David...he just did my top this past weekend and I'm very, very happy! The pricing blew away anything close to what Honda could provide and I got a canvas top instead of vinyl...all for under $1300, the lowest quote I got from Honda was "about $2500" which we all know could be $2800 or more...

Here's a link to a thread on 'the other site' of N. Texas members who have used his service: The Other site...

For those of you who are adventurous, here's a link to self install: It's a PDF file, give it a minute

I put this in South Central because his work would be worth a weekend trip to DFW, if I lived with in 3 hours or so it would be so worth a hotel stay or long weekend with buddies or a great excuse for some hotel sex! (hell, I went to Indiana for that )

His usual routine is to get the car Friday evening and have it ready for you Saturday afternoon. My schedule was a little different but he was fantastic and did a great job. Just wanted to throw a option out there for those that don't want to pay Honda prices and don't want to do it themselves.

He did mine, I'm not convinced canvas will last longer (with no upkeep) compared to the OEM one, but it does look better, IMO.

Oh and dumb me, I forgot to also thank Scott at Bankston (rioyellows2k)!!! He quickly hooked me up with a latch that broke when the top ripped, really weird situation...

      Thanks Scott! And David!
