  • Track Day! Harris Hill Road 11/14

Come one, come all! I have reserved Harris Hill Road for November 14 for learning and fast fun! Pricing will be $155 for members and $170 for nonmembers and will include lunch.

Watch for registration to open in the next few days. I hope we can fill this event with S2000s!

EDIT: The track weekend has been reduced to one day due to lots of volced concern about economic pressure and the demands of a full weekend on track.

Please note that it's been revised to a one day event in response to concerns about economics and other demands of a full weekend on track. I may do a full weekend again at some point in the future, but it appears that now is not a good time to do that.

                    Thanks!

Seems like most DEs offer a one day option. I was looking forward to this, but a 5 hour round trip from Houston is too much for one day. I'm out. Look s like its back to TWS in November for me

H2R actually has Houston-based members who routinely go there for a day or less. You should try it, it's a great change a pace from the TWS rut.

I have tried it, and I'll definitely attend the next 2 day event. I prefer two days on track, especially driving that far. I wish I could drive TWS enough to feel like I was in a rut, but with a track budget for every other month, I don't see that happening.

It's the payment due during registration or sometime after?

It should be due during registration. Let me know if it doesn't ask for payment at the end of the reg process.

Kinda bummed that you changed it to a one day event. I will now have to pay more in hotel and gas then I will on the track event. Can you see what you can do to get those that want a two day event the ability to run the second day?

If I lived in Austin or San Antonio a one day eventake sence, but from Houston it makes more sence to do Harris Hills as a two day event.

                                    doubble ditto.

I plan to sign up but please understand, changing tires, pads, driviving to track etc.. Its hard to go for one day

                                    HH is great.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

                                      Triple ditto .....

I had fun one day last time, but I realized that towing a car for one day wasn't that fun. I was going to sign up for the full weekend, not too sure about a single day

Just a thought for out-of-towners - what if we organized a Sunday Hill Country drive + Sat. night activities? Would that help to make up for the loss of a day on the track?
