  • Bent rim (pics) - need repair shop in Austin

Looking for local wheel repair shop in Austin. I bent one of my Work Meisters.

And don't ask me how I did this, because I had no idea until I pulled off my wheel this past weekend!

I should have a solution for you shortly, Deep...hang tight. I've got an email to a tuning shop owner in town who should have some suggestions.

Deep. my friend, BIll, the owner of Soul Speed in Austin just emailed me and said that most people he knows have their wheels taken care of by Wheel America in San Antonio. He said they have a pick up service and that he can help if you like. His email address is:

        billkim @ soulspeed.com

        (take out the space)

Tell him you were the guy that I was asking about for...

Let me know how it goes...!

We will also be talking when I get back from LS about having them be a club sponsor.

Apparently a rim bent in this fashion can't/shouldn't be repaired and I have to replace it.

            Oh well...I tried.
