What's a "Divisional"?
The Alamo Region Solo Divisional is just one event in the 2011 SCCA Southwest Division Solo Championship Series. This series allows Solo competitors from every region in the division to compete against each other for series points toward an overall Divisional Championship trophy. Not only is this great practice for National-level competition but it's also a ton of fun since you get to meet people that run in your class but may not otherwise ever see at a local event.
A Divisional takes place over the course of a weekend and there's plenty of action both on and off the course. The event consist of two different courses. One course on Saturday and one course on Sunday. Final trophy spots are determined by adding the competitor's fastest run on Saturday with their fastest run on Sunday. Serious excitement all weekend long!
