  • Austin: 4/3 Cars and Coffee & Bluebonnet Drive

This will be a unique opportunity to see the best car show series in Central Texas, *and* take a nice Sunday afternoon drive.

If you haven't been to a C&C before, you are missing the biggest and best car show in Central Texas: It runs every month on the 1st Sunday in old downtown Leander (15 miles north of Austin off old 183) from 11 to 2 (10 to 1 in the summer). It's a very well-run show, family friendly, co-sponsored by the town. All sorts of cars, from classics to sports to the latest supercars and everything in between.

We've never seen more than one S2K at C&C. Something is very wrong with that!

    April 3, Sunday:
    - 10:00 AM - we'll form up at HEB 183/1431
    - 10:15 - we'll roll as a group to Cars and Coffee, ensuring that we get parking in the show area together. If you are not showing, park in the school parking lot.
    - 12:30 - we'll leave on our drive from the parking lot area at the school.
    - (approx) 1:45 - stop for lunch in Marble Falls.
    - (approx) 4:30 - arrive in Fredericksburg (Auslander).

The bluebonnet drive will start at C&C, head west out of Leander, stopping for lunch in Marble Falls, and continue on to Fredericksburg. We have some good roads planned, all paved. There may be a little water, but we'll take it slow. C&C to F'Burg will be about 125 miles. It's an easy ride from there back to Austin or S.A..

This will be a bluebonnet drive, focus on scenic, not speed. You'll want to bring your camera for the show and the drive. We'll look for a good spot to take a group picture on the drive.

Many of our members no longer have an S. No problem - bring what you have now and we're happy to have you on board.

Please confirm your attendance and your ride below. Questions, ask them here.
