LA Chapter Director Activity Report (submitted for SW Regional Director for upcoming BOD meeting)
It's been a VERY active and busy few months in Los Angeles. Roseanne's EOQ Drive group has had a couple of great drive in Malibu since the beginning of the year despite the challenges presented by heavy rains and mudslides. More upcoming drives to be announced. Requests from EOQ group members to host another track day have been made. Details to follow if that is added to the calendar. An off-scheduled EOQ is tentatively on the calendar for the first weekend in May.
We are making sure the S2000 is well represented at recent Petersen/Avants, Hagerty Social, Supercar Sunday, and Motoring Club events here in Los Angeles.
Several LA chapter members along with club members from NW, SW, and MW regions of S2KCA will be attending the Overdrive Adventures Avenue of Giants event in Humboldt County, CA, May 22-25, 2023. Local LA club members as well as club members from other regions of the country will be attending the Overdrive Adventures Land of Lakes event July 24-27, 2023, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Plans are underway for Northeast Adventure in September 2023.
