This Year's Event T-shirt...

Guys and Gals, we are starting to work on the event t-shirt and am putting the call out for images from last year's event. We are looking for an image of an S2000 heading down the Corkscrew to go on the back of the shirt. I know there were many of these shots taken last year, so if you have some, hopefully in a high enough resolution/quality, please email them to me at [email protected]. Once we have figured out which one we're going to use, we'll do something special for the person who submitted it.

Good, that should be sufficient for printing on a shirt.

Why do the pics keep appearing and disappearing in this thread??? Each time I load this thread, sometimes they are there, sometimes they are red x's...!

What I think will be good is to get 9-10 images and post them in a poll and see which one people like the most and go with that.

I don't think that they should be 'limited' to the Corkscrew shots, but those are some of the most dramatic ones. If you have others, please submit them, as well!

Yes, only admins can do this for now. There are several reasons why we don't allow bulkuploads, the first is ftp access to the site.

And Greg, stop picking your nose in that picture above!

Just a thought. I like a lot of these pictures and know there are many more to view but could you put 4 different pictures on the shirt rather then just one? Perhaps using four different color S2000's. I know cost is always factor but I think that would make the shirt even more appealing.

Will those not attending be able to purchase a shirt? Maybe group buys by forums or region could be arranged.

Becareful I am thinking My brain is starting function after a few days of serious down time.

If I can make a suggestion about the shirts -

Find a really cool photo from last year's event (maybe the two cars chasing each other down the corkscrew) and have it stylized before you put it on the shirt. Something like what we did for the team shirts (www.over6racing.com/shirt.html)

Putting photos directly on tee-shirts never comes out well. You don't have enough colors to work with and the resolution isn't high enough. If you have someone with good art skills convert the photo to a stylized image with less colors, you will still have a very recognizable image, but it will show better on a shirt and last better through multiple washes.
